There is a body! However, it was not finished in time for me to carve on it at all, but it is waiting for me to get back to it in September when we return to Chattanooga.
When I put the head on the body, I realized that we had made a slight mistake! The mane, which in my mind and in the pictures is fluid, becomes a hindrance when it is carved in wood. I don't know about you, but that is not a saddle I would want to sit in!
So, we moved the saddle back, and the head forward a little, so that it can be ridden. I will probably end up carving off the bottom 2 points from the mane. It should be a little safer then!
